Russian for Everyone is the preliminary part in the series of interactive lessons in Russian for beginners. The future of my Russian language lessons depends on your interest in this very preliminary program. This program has been designed to give you some idea how the Russian language looks like. The program contains about 70 words, several elementary phrases and some very basic grammar information.
The pictures and sound in this preliminary course are quite poor due to the limited size of the final application program that can be distributed through anonymous servers. I have applied 11 kHz sampling. In the next part I will utilize 22 kHz (or even 44kHz) sampling rate and the pictures will be in color. I will also record pronunciation of several people to give you more material for study. I am also planning to develop a speaking dictionary with some interactive grammar explanation (i.e. declension and conjugation patterns etc.).
This preliminary program "Russian for Everyone" is shareware. The shareware fee is $10 (price includes reduction for the next lessons). If you decide to send cash, please send it preferably via the registered mail. If you send a check it should be a check issued by a bank (NOT a personal check but BANK's check). Please, include your e-mail address in your letter.
The future form of that series will depend on your interest and suggestions. I will continue this project only if your interest will be sufficient. I can also adjust my lessons to your specific needs and expectations (but I am not planing to develop lessons for advanced students).
Please, send your shareware fee, remarks and suggestions to:
